James Hatch

Jimmy Hatch is a veteran, Yale alum and founder of a nonprofit dedicated to supporting working canines across the U.S. called Spike’s K9 Fund. After 26 years of service, including 22 years in the Navy SEAL teams, Jimmy brings a unique perspective shaped by resilience, purpose, and an unyielding commitment to personal growth. While at Yale, he has immersed himself in learning with the same intensity he brought to the field, exploring topics from Italian cinema to the works of William Blake.

Jimmy's journey reflects a deep passion for connecting with others, honoring humanity, and advocating for positive change. Through his writing, public speaking, and nonprofit work, he seeks to share the hard-won insights of his life with sincerity and humility.
